Case Study 2Oxfordshire Manor HouseThe fire gutted the upper floors of a large manor house. We were asked to take over from the original team due to our experience of these difficult projects. In addition to many initial problems, the main contractor also went into liquidation which added to the obstacles we had to overcome. The top image shows the original oak vaulted roof that was badly damaged. Eight months later the house is back in full working order and the client has beautifully restored oak timbered vault ceiling rooms on the upper floors and a redecorated house throughout.
